The app presents a clean interface for use of the Caesar and the Vigenère ciphers. Careful attention to dealing with punctuation and passcode correctly give superior easier performance.

Easy linking to both SMS / iMessage and Email interfaces are provided.

The app is broken into four operational screens plus this help screen. The first two are the Encode and Decode screens for the Caesar Cipher. The next two deal with the more complex Vigenère Cipher.

Both the Caesar and Vigenère Encode and Decode pages work essentially the same way with the difference being the length of the passcode or passkey. The passkey for the Caesar Cipher is a single letter whereas the Vigenère Cipher uses a passkey to create a set of single letter alphabetic substitutions resulting in a more complex - and tougher to crack - encoding.
